Each volunteer chooses the area they would like to help and how much time they volunteer for. Some volunteer as little as a couple times a year and others a couple times a week. Every volunteer matters. Every volunteer makes a difference.
Thank you for your interest in sharing your time and talents with us. We can’t wait to meet you! Steps in becoming a volunteer include:
- Fill out the Volunteer Application form
- Complete the Criminal Background Check form
- Schedule an interview with our volunteer services staff by calling 563-927-7534
- Complete Volunteer Health Requirements. Volunteers must:
- Have a health assessment (coordinated by the RMC Employee Health Department)
- Be current on vaccinations
- Be free of communicable disease
- Complete a Tuberculosis (TB) test
- Have current flu vaccination or complete the appropriate waiver forms
- Complete position-specific training
